My task for the entire duration of the immersion program is divided into five (5) parts, (1) E-Commerce Tools Integration (2) Product Searching (3) Product Designing (4) Article Writing (5) Search Engine Optimization (SEO) keywords setting.
E-Commerce Tools Integration involves searching of available plug-in tools that will help minimize the task of e-commerce development, product designing details setting and modifications. They are not specific of the platform compatibility of the plug-in since it is expected as well in the end of the developer to modify the plug-in to suit to the need of the web site. I am expected that I know how to read codes and to do a modification of the codes, however, support is provided the moment I would find difficulty on the coding side.
Product searching is the easier task compare to the first since all the effort needed will just be searching the traffic of the specific product and the marketability of the item which would be subject for a post item to designed in the e-commerce website. The products that has been added in the site should have a higher buying rate, popularity and visit per click.
Product Designing involves Photoshop skills since we are expected to design from scratch. Creativity, patience, good eye for beauty and balance are one of the requirements in designing other than the designing skills in Photoshop. Without the skills of an artist, the probability of the designs not to be posted or published will be higher, and I have designs created that still subject for modifications or revisions.
Article Writing is a one of the major task of an e-commerce since the products needs to be defined in details and or specificality. The article content should tackle all the features of the product, from the quality to the material used and even to the shipping details.
Lastly, SEO keywords setting will just be about itemizing words popularity of the article for SEO purposes and for the website product to be tracked by google search engine, social media websites and for promotion purposes
