The logo design served as the primary point of contact of the forwarding businesses with the outside community. Excellent logo design requires a complex combination of design abilities, innovative theory, and skilled application. Any designer can produce a fit-for-purpose design, unfortunately, genuinely perfecting all the elements of the art requires time. Although, logo design is one little subset of marketing, unfortunately, the logo design or brand tag continues to be the centerpiece of most branding strategies.
My second assignment geared toward designing. The company required me to develop 1.) Logo and 2.) T-shirt Design. With these task at hand, I received materials and tutorials on creating and expected to submit a design after I have learned all the tutorials they extended to me.
First, I dig on what are the elements to consider about designing a logo. More importantly, how will I come up with a logo design best for a brand or product. To sum up all the reading and research about designing, I have learned rules to adhere on designing and the elements of a logo which includes shape and symbolism, as well as color theory.
Right after the concept crafted, I did my design using Adobe Illustrator. I applied all the rules learned on designing and as well as the considerations of shape, symbolism, and application of color. For a starter, the design submitted does not suffice to the company standard yet they still accept for the subject for enhancement to the designing team. To see my design even just 10% of it in the company’s fort folio would already be an achievement for me.
The experience took me two weeks to come-up all the designs. I also try to scout exciting research topic related to logo design; surprisingly, there is numerous study published inlined with logo design, and one probable area would be data mining on consumer response to brand design.
